Table of Contents
This article is about a science fiction action RPG called Phantom Galaxies.
The game is set in a vast and visually appealing universe. The Non-Colonial Area (NCA) is a cluster of star systems devastated by past conflicts. Two civilizations, the Commonwealth and the Union, waged a long and bitter war in this region, but unspeakable tragedy shocked both sides, and they made peace and withdrew.
In the devastated and lawless NCA, pirate groups are spreading and causing chaos throughout the universe. To combat this threat, formerly warring civilizations have joined forces to form the Rangers Corps. The elite Rangers Core seeks to bring order and peace to the galaxy and is always in need of new recruits.
Joining the Rangers Core
When you join the rank of Ranger, Halberd-001 becomes your base, operational command post, and armory. At the base you will meet story commanders, officers, and captains and be assigned operational missions across the stars, and the NCA is filled with exciting locations to complete missions, gather resources, and help those in need. To access these diverse locations, board a starfighter and fly out through the blue warp gate waiting outside Halberd.
Main Story missions are received from various characters in Halberd-001 and other safe zones. Bounty missions are also accessible at Halberd-001 and are more regular and more numerous than the main story quests and are rewarded in various Phantom Galaxies currencies.
Trading terminals are also accessible in the safe zone. The trading terminals sell equipment such as weapons and thrusters that can be equipped on starfighters to give them an advantage in battle. It is also a place to sell equipment and mined resources that are no longer needed. Mining lasers can be used to destroy asteroids and extract the valuable resources inside.
Enter the PvP area through the red warp gate outside Halberd-001 and meet your friends and other members of the community. Test your piloting abilities and see who the sky champions are!
starfighter
Rangers Core advanced to carry out interstellar missions and bring peace
You pilot the Starfighter. There are four different Starfighter builds to choose from, each with a different play style but equally effective in combat. Each build has unique missiles, technology abilities, and ultimate abilities, and when transformed into mecha form, can deploy a devastating melee attack unique to the build that wipes out any threat that gets too close.
- Assault build: a balanced all-rounder, suitable for new players or players who do not want to specialize in a particular style of play.
- Buster build: heavy, sturdy, powerful, and capable of inflicting large amounts of damage that is not concentrated in large areas.
- Bleacher build: a mech designed to smash the enemy at close range.
- Lancer Build: A sniper that aims at the enemy's weakest point and strikes the most dangerous targets single-handedly, inflicting heavy damage with accurate firepower.
Initially you will have the base Starfighter, but optionally you will have the opportunity to pilot your own Starfighter NFT through the Web3 version of Phantom Galaxies.
avatar
Your avatar is your Ranger model. It determines how you will look as you interact with other players throughout the Phantom Galaxies universe, fight pirate enemies, and build your legend as a Rangers Core hero. Initially you will have a base avatar, but through the Web3 version of Phantom Galaxies you can add even more variety and uniqueness to your avatar's appearance.
economy
Economy Credits: After the truce between the Union and the Commonwealth, credits were created as a unifying currency. Credits are used to purchase and manufacture/upgrade equipment. Credits can be collected in the following ways
- Complete the mission.
- Finish the bounty.
- Defeat the pirates.
- Sell equipment dropped by pirates.
- Sell the mined resources.
ASTRAFER: Deadly astraphite was swept from the stars and transformed by the Rangers into a harmless and precious substance, ASTRAFER.
ASTRAFER is the primary Web3 currency in the Phantom Galaxies universe. It is also the game's only governor's token.
ASTRAFER can be used to purchase credits, ore, and U-cubes for equipment upgrades.ASTRAFER is a scarce resource obtained through planetary emissions and ranger trucks.ASTRAFER can also be bought and sold on secondary markets.
The current source of planetary emissions is a browser-based mini-game called "The Ceres Quadrant: Recon Phase" in which planet owners can earn ASTRAFER by completing missions.
As more features are implemented in the game, the source of ASTRAFER will increase. More development is expected through Early Access.
Sterling: In the midst of the NCA turmoil, a currency still in use today, sterling, stands out.
Sterling is the premium Steam currency for Phantom Galaxies.
Sterling is procured and utilized in the same manner as ASTRAFER, but cannot be bought and sold on the secondary market or received as planetary emissions. Sterlings can be purchased in-game.
If a Steam player wishes to move to the Web3 version, he/she can spend in-game with Sterling. However, they will not receive further Sterling afterwards.
Because it will be replaced by ASTRAFER in the Web3 version.
