game mode
In solo mode, you can equip NFT sneakers to earn GST (Green Satoshi Token) and move around for 5 minutes for each Energy consumed. After selecting a sneaker and pressing the "Start" button, a "Walking" or "Running" sign will appear at the top of the display. During a moonwalk (when there is no GPS or web connection, or when traveling with an electric bicycle or dog), GST is not rewarded and consumes Energy depending on the situation; the GPS signal is represented as white (no GPS), red (GPS rocking), or green (GPS solid). To ensure profit, it is always necessary to have enough Energy before repositioning. Otherwise, tokens will not be awarded.
The amount of GST/GMT paid depends on the number of minutes consumed and varies according to four main aspects. Sneaker type (different styles pay different GST), sneaker efficiency (more ability means more GST/GMT per minute), comfort (more convenience means more GMT per minute), and HP loss (more comfort means slower). At level 30, you can pay alternating GST and GMT.
To maximize your income in solo mode, you must stay within the optimal speed range for each sneaker. If you go too fast or too slow, you can lose up to 901 TP3T of income. When energy is depleted, token acquisition stops and you can exit Solo mode by pressing and holding the stop button.
mystery box
Mystery Boxes drop randomly while traveling in solo mode. Each Mystery Box contains Gems (levels 1-4) and GST, and each user has four Mystery Box slots. upon receiving a Mystery Box, there is a countdown to opening it, and the GST required to open it is determined by the quality of the Box. The higher the quality, the longer the countdown.

In solo mode, efficiency affects the amount of GST gained per energy consumed, while luck determines the frequency and quality of mystery box drops. Comfort affects the rate of HP decay and the amount of GMT earned. In marathon mode, efficiency affects the number of leaderboard points earned and luck affects mystery box drops. Staking/Governance (under development) also affects comfort relative to the amount of GMT earned.
If the HP does not reach 100%, the shoe will not be allowed to be sold or transferred in the Marketplace. Also, if the HP is less than 20%, it will not be treated as a power source in that area. Finally, if the HP reaches 0, the shoes cannot be used for mobility.
The more expensive and prestigious the sneaker, the more expensive the repair will be. Durability works in a similar way to the durability of sneakers. Sneakers deteriorate to the point of durability with increased physical activity. Sneakers incur the penalty of "wear and tear" when their durability is reduced by half. When the durability reaches 50/100, the sneaker's efficiency plummets to 901 TP3T. When resilience drops to 20/100, efficiency drops to 101 TP3T. In marathon mode, points are added to the sneaker by maintaining the time above the "wear and tear" penalty mark for a longer period of time.
Types of Sneakers
There are four types of sneakers, each designed for different exercise intensities and fitness levels.
User GST return is not stable and fluctuates with multiple factors. Sneaker longevity affects efficacy; inadequate GPS signal can lead to loss of user funds. There are five factors that characterize the quality of a sneaker. When a sneaker is manufactured, the quality rating is chosen haphazardly within a given minimum to maximum range, based on the standard of the sneaker. Thus, sneakers of the same quality can have contrasting characteristics.
sneaker level
Sneaker enhancement is facilitated by the consumption of GST; the amount of GST and GMT consumed increases with level and requires a certain period of time. The pace of sneaker enhancement can also be increased by increasing the amount of GST spent. Currently, shoes require GMT to level up from 5, 10, 20, 29, and 30. Each level up adds 4 to 12 attribute points, depending on the shoe's level. There are also benefits for each level you raise. At the highest level, you can choose between GST and GMT; you can alternate between GST and GMT, but there is a wait time.
Co-branded sneakers
STEPN has launched sneakers in collaboration with top sneaker brands.
Genesis Sneakers
Genesis Sneaker in Solana is Sneaker G1-G10,000.
Genesis Sneaker on BNBChain is Sneaker G10,001 to G20,000.
All Genesis Sneakers will be marked with a "G" for identification purposes. The Genesis Sneaker differs from the OG Sneaker in that it is a short number that is airdropped to Genesis Sneaker holders as needed. Sneaker; the OG Sneaker does not have a "G" mark, nor does the Genesis Sneaker Perk. For example, BNBChain's OG Sneaker is a Sneaker numbered between 20,001 and 30,000; Ape Realm's OG Sneaker is a Sneaker numbered in the 40,001-60,000 range.
shoemint
A Shoemint Event (SME) involves "breeding" two pairs of sneakers owned by the user as blueprints, producing a shoebox in the process. For reference, the two sneakers are referred to as the "Vintage" (parent); both Vintage must be in the user's possession (not leased) and fully durable in order to initiate a SME.
The user selects sneakers on the "Mint" tab, chooses which sneakers to "Breed" and presses "Mint" to proceed. The shoebox will then be delivered immediately and can be opened immediately.
Users may perform up to 7 SMEs per sneaker; the more SMEs a sneaker has, the higher the GST/GMT. Shoe-Minting costs for each Vintage are calculated separately and added together as the final Minting cost. Shoe-Minting has a 48-hour cooldown for both Vintages.
Dynamic Minting Cost
Mint cost = GST (A) + Base GMT (B) + Additional GMT ([A+B]*x)
- If GST < $4, then x = 0%.
- If $4<GST<$8, x=50%.
- If $8 < GST < $12, x is 100%.
- If $12<GST<$16, x is 200%.
- If $16<GST<$20, x is 400%.
- If $20 < GST < $30, x is 800%.
- If $30 < GST < $40, x is 1600%.
- If $40<GST<$50, x=3200%.
- 9. if GST is $50 or more, x will be 6400%.
Note: Shoe mint costs are updated daily at 14:00 UTC. In extreme cases, the Shoe-Minting cost may be adjusted multiple times per day. The first two Shoe-Minting costs are the same. Shoe-Minting may drop one extra shoe box. The higher the number of mints, the higher the chance of dropping more than one shoebox.
Shoe-Minting costs are subject to change from time to time to balance supply and demand for both GST and GMT.
Gem Types and Levels
When a sneaker reaches a certain level, a gem socket is opened, and the sneaker's attributes can be enhanced by attaching the corresponding gem to the opened socket (efficiency gems can only be attached to efficiency sockets).
There are four types of gems, each of which represents an attribute.
Yellow Yellow: Efficiency
blue fortune
Red Comfort
Purple Recovery
Open the Upgrade tab in the Gems section and spend GST to combine three gems of the same level and type to upgrade to a higher level (e.g., three level 1 efficiency gems to one level 2 efficiency gem). Also, GMT is required to upgrade Gems after level 4.
Socket type and quality
Sneakers have four different sockets, identified by a color corresponding to the type of Gem. Users can insert Gems into these sockets to enhance the sneaker's attributes. One socket is unlocked for each sneaker at levels 5, 10, 15, and 20. The higher the quality of the socket, the more enhanced the attributes of the inserted Gem. The type of socket can be checked without unlocking it, but the quality of the socket is determined by the quality of the sneaker.
